Philosophy
We believe that a child development center must enhance the lives of children, their families, and the community through the provision of a nurturing, supportive and valuable community service.

Our philosophy is focused on learning-through-play, inspired by three of the leading educational philosophies in the field of early childhood education, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori.

We believe play is essential to young children's learning. We acknowledge and support children's interests and strengths to enhance and facilitate their learning process.

We believe all children need opportunities to discover, solve problems, and learn about themselves, other people, and the world around themselves.

our philosophy

Regio Emilia

The Reggio Emilia approach gives our students a sense of autonomy. Our teachers observe what children are interested in and provide them the freedom and guidance to help them act on their curiosity and develop a love of learning.

Waldorf

The Waldorf approach emphasizes the importance of a natural environment, and the importance of holistic teaching. Providing gentle, yet sensory rich environments and play-based activities that encourage the young child to investigate the natural world.

Montessori

The Montessori approach recognizes the importance of hands-on learning, daily routines and building towards goals. We integrate this in our learning-through-play approach, for instance, using arts and crafts to teach kids how to count and help them develop their language skills. For children approaching kindergarten age, we integrate pre-reading and pre-writing, familiarizing children with the cycle of schoolwork.
